Accomplished.

Over the past two days I have...

Graded my first stack of Italian papers,
taken a shower,
received a 19.5/20 on my Spanish Oral exam (and for the record I hate Spanish),
cleaned the kitchen,
made Mark laugh,
stayed up quite late, but tonight will go to bed quite early,
watched a darling French film,
had some play time with our niece and nephew,
and learned some things about my ancestors on new.familysearch.org. Amazing website.

I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but I personally feel quite accomplished.

I'm Not Missing You At All.

This post is kind of directed towards my non-existent gallbladder. And my apologies for the lame formatting of this blog. I hate you blogger.

I don't miss it at all. I don't miss the stabbing stomach pains and the wide array of gastrointestinal problems that it gave me. I don't miss that it made me give up ice cream and other dairy products for a time. So, in other words, parting ways with it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

I have, however, noticed some sad complications that have come as a result of the removal of my evil little friend. I used to enjoy eating spicy foods, but those days are long gone. Spicy foods give me crazy bad heartburn now, and while I used to enjoy eating at places like Texas Roadhouse, it's not so enjoyable to realize how much my stomach hates to digest food all on it's own, with out the help of my gallbladder. While it has been a bit of an adjustment, I would have to say that I feel soooo much better post-surgery.

Other topics of note:*This fine lady came to visit us at BYU last week. I have just one word to say about her: inspirational.
*I got one of these for Christmas. I love it, and the pink remote that Mark got me to go with it.
*I'm taking a Cooking class this semester, and I love that too.
*I get to TA for one of my favorite classes this semester, French & Italian Cinema. That class opened my eyes to the invention of film and its importance and beauty as an art form. I love foreign films now, and I'm so excited to be more involved with that class this semester.
*Not to brag or anything, but I have the greatest husband ever. After a pretty frustrating morning/afternoon last week I came home from work to find the house completely clean. I love him.

I love it, and I'm loving learning all that I can about photography.

*Life is good, and we can't wait to graduate and find out where we'll be spending this summer!
